Gifts

I can say that I have some gifts, like, I can play the guitar (not as great as my sister), but I can....I have never had a guitar class before...I can play the drums (the basics, of course), and I also haven't had any drums class before....I can also feel certain things, and have some insights...I love when it happens, it just makes me eager to know more about minds, and people's thoughts, and everything!! It's not like a dejavu, it's so much more than that, you know it is happening, but you are totally not there....it's crazy....you know it's going to happen, you are certain of everything....I have had dejavus before, and I know that it is not similar to a dejavu sensation....an insight is so much more...I've had it only once, and I kinda want to practice my mind to have insights more often....

Today I went to the bookstore to buy a book named "The Power of your Subconscious Mind", but it was sold out! I am going to buy it online, too bad it takes like 2 days to get here...I wanted now, I wanted to start reading it now...oh well! I ended up buying 2 other books and the fifth season of Lost! I deserve some of these gifts too....hehe!

É, acho que essa frase é a mais pura verdade...não importa o quão racional sejamos, o quão lógica a verdade é, a gente sempre vai ter esperança...é impossível não ter esperança daquilo que queremos, por isso acontece as tais decepções e frustrações quando tudo o que você esperou se transforma no contrário...
...talvez devêssemos viver de maneira mais amena? talvez não devêssemos esperar tanto...afinal, quanto menos se espera, as coisas acontecem! Mas quem disse que a esperança é um botão de liga e desliga? O esperar não é uma coisa que acontece racionalmente, ele vem porque simplesmente vem...

To give up...

According to an online dictionary, the meaning for 'give up' is:

It seems to be a negative word, right? When you read the meaning of it, you find 'cease', 'desist', 'lose hope' -- negative words, definitely. But what is the true meaning to you? Have you ever given up of something? How did you feel after doing it?

I have given up...actually, I often say that we are always looking for something better in our lives, we are fighting to get the things we deserve, we plant the seeds to harvest great fruits, I mean, that's life! We are always looking for the things that make us happy.

I have given up on something that was not making me happy, altough I did fight a lot to get that wish to come true...I actually got it, but the tree was no longer growing the way I wanted it to grow. I gave up a dream which was becoming a nightmare...People say 'don't you ever give up!' -- I agree, as long as you know by heart it is the thing you truly want. It is hard to know exactly what we want, it is very hard. If I could make 3 wishes now, and I knew they would come true, I have no idea what they would be.

To give up, now at this time of my life, it is not negative...it is a positive action I did, I didn't stop time and space to simply live what I thought it was perfect. I let it go...
